sti key blank

i know its been posted before:
https://www.i-club.com/forums/hawaii-43/sti-key-blank-213956/#post2782831

im trying to find somewhere to copy my sti key blank. i tried to bring it to home depot on saturday but was denied. they will not copy key blanks that are not their own. i want to go somewhere that will not f it up. i had a totally different house key blank (volcom):
http://www.actionvillage.com/100-160-0016

that i brought to aloha key (sears pearlridge) 4 times! paid $5 and they WERE not able to sucessfully copy my key that was only a $10 key....the sti key blank is $20 so i dont want to go somewhere and have it not work.

where are places that sucessfully copied a wrx key to sti key blank? on island please..lol. i do not even have an original key..mine is probably a copy of a copy of a copy...lol.

From my experiences, anywhere that is Aloha Key(Sears in Hawaii) can not replicate it due to either the method they do or the machine.

I took mine to the pearl city home depot. They attempted to copy, weren't sure, then suggested somewhere else. I then tried my key out and it worked better than my original!

Because they weren't sure, they didn't charge me..... So free copy! Chee!

If you guys have a home depot, they will do it. Just make to cover the top part with blue tape or something it will get scratched to hell.

Oh my bads. Try one of those random kiosk things in the middle of parking lots that sell coffee, drinks, pastries and sell random things. Try and go mom and pop I suppose also.
And for the record I only seeing home depot mentioned once. Angry girl.

Did you try the other Home Depot?
The reason why other shops can do it is because not all machines can cut titanium.
I took 2 of my STI Blank Keys to Home Depot and they cut both. I might have been the key cutting guy at the time you went in that wanted to be a PITA.
Whenever you are in town try that other Home Depot. It never hurts to try.

Ewa beach...that was a couple years back though. I'm still using that key up until now.
