Closeup of the dials and keyring

Not the best pictures. My camera doesn't take very good night shots.

The keyring wasn't too hard. I removed the gauge cover, lower steering colum cover. I was able to get the ring out with the upper cover on. There is not a lot of slack going to the light so I just pulled the bulb out, took off the old cover and slipped on the new one. This was about a 20 minute job (taking my time).

I also still have 3 packs of covers that haven't been spoken for.

In the future I plan to move it to my 4Runner and probably go with the Clarion DXZ835MP

Just a reminder that I did get them in. These are the folks that wanted, but haven't pick up. If you are no longer interested let me know and I'll remove your name otherwise give me a yell (PM me and I'll send you my phone number) so I can get them to you.

I just removed my center cupholder and the silver trim piece. Removed the 4 screws holding the HVAC in, but when I tug it will not come out..? What is the deal with this?

Thanks,
-Nigel

What???

There are no screws at least in my car holding the AC controls in I just took out the top cup holder to get to the top edge of the trim and just pooped it out, unpluged the connectors, pulled off the according hose and took it in the house and took it apart like mehlt said and reversed steps for install.

I'm a douche bag. Plain and simple..lol

After taking apart the stereo part I looked at it and just popped off the face plate.... I think I am being to "gentle" with my car... Usually when stuff does not want to come off after I give it a little tug, I say that's it, it's not coming off.... Welp, not with cars I guess..lol I pull nothing... I tug just a weeeeeeeeeee bit harder and bam it pops off! Took me over an hour to get the gauge cluster out! Changed all the bulb condoms to red! Now it takes me no more than 3 minutes because I know what to do..hahaha ONE qestion that I have is putting on reverse indglo guages... I tried and for some reason I thought the needles were going to pop off.... are the needles securly on or will the just pop off... that is the last thing I want to happen because then I will buy a damn STI cluster to say me the trouble... But that would set me back $500 which I really don't want to do at the moment....

Thanks again,
-Nigel

I gave Steve his last night.

I agree with Brandon, the all-red illumination looks sinister!

I think it does look much better since I changed mines a while back (thanks again Tim). And the red buttons on my deck match I'm gonna figure out how to change the A/C and recirc lights.....
