It sucks, sorry.

Now just get it fixed, and drive it like it was meant to be driven. Don't get rid of it. You have nothing to fear now, It will not have to be babied as much now. The car has survived a bad experience and will come back from it. Now you can have a GOOD time, without worrying about hurting it so much.

Dave,
Get a quote from all the Subaru dealers and ask how much $$$ you just lost because your car got into in accident. Because if you were to sell your car right now, folks or dealer would offer you less since it was in an accident. Its called Diminished value. Just present this to the person who is handling your claim and ask for that much more...since thats what you lost in resale value.
