Glad someone is jumping on this for hslin... It's been bothering me as well..

Anyone with Defi or Omori gauges? They might have a similar setup...

I spoke with "SUBY DUDE" and he said that there was supposed to be a diagram with the instructions that states what it is supposed to hook up too. He also said that that harness doesn't exsist in the USDM cars (like I thought) We'll have to splice them in manually.

Yo... hslin PM me with your number

Is this what you're looking for?

Can someone with experience installing this or similar defi gauge instruct on where the electric harness plugs into?

you can tap into clock harness.

do search on clock harness and should tell you which wire is which

I mentioned this on the install day but I wasn't sure what the wires were supposed to go to... I have tapped my EDFC onto the clock wires since they were were exactly what I needed.

I believe they are:

Power
Ground
Light
Accessory

Maybe the diagram that I posted is similar... They look almost identical.

Just wanted to say thanx everyone for jumping in and helping with my install, sorry I couldn't be of any help. Subaru's are great cars but I must admit that the owners that I've met via I-club far surpass the machine. Thanx again everyone!!

Yeah, I was searching all the forums last night to no avail. It seems we're not the first to ask this question though... It's just that nobody has an answer. Shoot me your # hslin, let's finish that sucka. The diagram Jon posted is all the info we need.

We are trying to figure out what wires to tap since the USDM WRX doesn't have the harness that we need to power up the control unit.

Boloheadrat: I don't know if that diagram that I posted will work but we can use it as a guide since it is the most similar to the STI Genome Gauge that hslin has.

Hopefully this will take care of everything

it's an STI control unit.

We are looking for what wires to tap from the control unit harness into the car so that the STI control unit can have power... The STI control unit has 4 wires. All instructions are in Japanese.
