yeah! it took me a minute to understand what the HU was doing when connecting to my evo - first pair them, then when their paired, use the mode button to get to BT-A, if you have a song/playlist already cued up on your home screen player widget (i have the slim mini widget on like page 3 or something), the HU will automatically hit 'play' for you and start playing the song/playlist... if not, it'll do nothing, then just open up pandora and jam away!

(*note, now that i think about it, i dont think i ever hit 'next song' in pandora, but it certainly works with the stock mp3 player (probably will with doubletwist but i dont use it)

ok i just went and played with the 900bt on the board at my shop. no bluetooth audio if you want bluetooth audio going to have to get the regular 900 and the add on bluetooth 400bt. for some reason the bluetooth module that comes with the 900bt wont do audio but the add on will.

wow, thats odd - the 900bt will do the bt audio for calls but not streaming from the phone huh? ... what are the other diffs between the 900 and 900bt? (im guessing just included bt adapter?)

maybe ill have to get the 900 + adapter - streaming bluetooth isn't a must, but is great for pandora since i have a perfect charge/storage spot for my phone on the console...

*edit* Dave - try this: "I have the evo and the alpine 900bt. Go into device or general setup and where it says bluetooth do HFP+Audio. That should fix the problem "

limited success on the webz, but it may work w/your phone (evo or not)

the only differnce is the bluetooth module. the 900 bt comes with a 250bt module that does not support bluetooth audio. dont know why they didnt include the 400bt that does do BT audio

huh... so the 900bt comes with the 250bt, but i can get the w900 and get the 400bt separately? that would probably be the way to go... is that possible?

You may even want to wait until the next models come out...possibly they'll have addressed this problem.

Oh and I honestly would think that A2DP sounds more like a sexual maneuver.

yeah i did actually - 04 nissan's and up is the same, but no one has the dash kit (there's definitely a gap with the alpine)... might just order online, the harness is less than $5 online, dash kit is about the same as local retail, but everyone's sold out, havent checked pearl city area tho - i get off work late...
