i think both of you have valid points but the fact of the matter is this is i-club first and foremost. i personally have no problem with anyone with any car comming out to hang. i do have a problem with people i don't know comming to hang and either not introducing themselves, or not being a part of the GROUP. if you wanna come to a meet then come, but before you do get a F****** screen name and introduce yourself. say hi, my name is ------. i have a ----- but it would be nice to meet up with some fellow enthusiasts and shoot the S***. thats all you have to say. we have always welcomed new people as long as they are open about it. as far as "leadership", there needs to be someone "in charge" if we are going to have "successful" meets. if we all just post up our own meets then how the hell are we all going to come together as a "group" and talk story? this is getting way out of hand and if this is going to continue, i for one will not be attending any further meets. it is so stupid to be fighting over something that was meant to help people unwind after work and relax with friends.
jon, i respect the role you have been given in choosing the meet spot. i will continue to come to the designated meet spot because i just wanna have some F****** fun.
shaggy, i can understand that you want to make things "better" and have more meets and make it easier for people to attend. the fact is that jon was chosen to decide when and where for the meet so we should all respect that. if you wanna have your own meets then fine, just don't use the boards to advertise it because that just causes tension and confusion.
all in all this is total bull S*** and if you don't like it too F****** bad. GTFO N00B!

good F***ing LORD!!! 91sleeper pretty much summed it up. this IS HIIC...HOWEVER, if other car guys care to come out, bring it on! i always like meetin car enthusiasts no matter WHAT they drive.
Jon: look, i know you have a family and a job. thats all good. you were "sorta" named "meat master" when Josh left. and when that happened things started going downhill. if you dont have the time or interest to post something every week according to the way its BEEN done, then hand it off to someone who WILL. this waiting several weeks to post, or changin it up to an out of the way parking lot that us Haoles cant find is BS. dont complain about what ***** can/cant post up, cuz guess what, its a community board. we dont ALL have everyone's numbers. calm down. here are your two options:
1) start posting regular meets at normal locations EVERY week or dont get salty when someone else does it
2) elect someone ELSE to do the job. obviously shaggy cares about it, why dont you swallow your pride and let him do it from now on? why you have to be stubborn about this?
i know that im not on the Island any more, but you guys are my other family, quit complaining.
