Stance vs. BC Racing

Ive read numerous good reviews about both of them.

I even poked around on Nabisco to find that Jon is running Stance (or was.. not sure if he still is)

anybody else running Stance or BC Racing's coilvers?

Two different applications. Stance is a more motorsports based coilover. BC is more of a daily driving type of deal. Stance, and from experience, is very stiff. BC's, I've heard are smooth riding.

Do not get Stance unless you plan to either auto-x or track your car and track it often...

Stances are STIFF. I have a set of Stance GR sport coilovers. I personally love them. Its a plus that they have camber plates already built in for both the front and rear.

ive rode in someones car with BC's coilovers. very comfortable and they come with extenders for the adjustments of the rear (so you dont have to pull your seats off when setting them). plus their rebuild policy is awesome.

you should ask jon (infek) about stance. i think he likes em.

Stance are inverted shocks. All adjustments are done at the bottom of the coilover housing.

Coilovers are essentially the whole shock assembly. Usually comes preassembled. It is typically the shock, the spring, the housing, and the camber plate. It differs to the strut assembly by coming pre-assembled. Usually, you have your stock set-up and if you wanted to upgrade, you'd have to buy different springs, or different shocks, etc.

Somewhat true. More adjustable. Height and dampening typically. Also camber. Once you get fancier set-up's, bound and rebound as well.

Hard to say. Take the wheel off and see if there are any markings? If they ride fine for what you do, leave it alone.

stance wins. they've been around a lot longer. they don't give you stickers or gay things in the box to make you feel like you bought a good product.

on the softest settings the stances were very comfortable and not bouncy like others.

I'm running BC coilovers, and they seem to be a little bit harsh (as expected). I am still fooling around with the settings though. At 10 clicks from softest (out of 32), they are not too bad. When I installed them, they look like a good quality product. As far as the rebuilds go, I think you pay them like $95 and they send you a brand new coilover if you ever need it. The rear camber plates are also optional and cost $150 more. You also have the choice of buying a normal strut setup or inverted struts.

I cannot say anything about stance, since I have never seen or ridden in a car with them.

Anyways, here are some pics of the F/R plates and the not_so_slammed_wagon. I didn't mess with the height yet. This is how they came out of the box.
