Stage Kit opinions...

I know I asked a similar question a bit ago, but Im close to ordering up the Vishnu Stage 1 kit, since I want the exhaust and all that anyways might as well just do the stage, but anyone think there is a better full kit to go with? I like Vishnu, they have been awesome to work with and have answered all my mail every single time I have asked questions (and you all know how annoying I can get with those questions), so I would like to give them business and I want to just get everything at one place. Im not a tuner, heck I can barely set the stereo stations, so I want it to basically work. No tuning or tweaking for me.

This is what Im thinking about ordering:

(this is from my stage 2 listing so I might leave an item on)

> Signature Turboback Exhaust
> Intercooler Hose
> Pulley Kit
> XEDE System
> Pulley Kit

I think thats it, basically a stage 1 with the XEDE, no up-pipe and the signature exhaust.

Thanks for any and all serious and smart-*** (Dave shut-up) comments.

Get the base exhaust and with the money you save, put it in to a set of teins.

Arrow in my humble opinion ...

Vishnu's site lists the Stage 1 as having a:
Vishnu-remapped ECU, Main Power Pulley and 321 Up-Pipe kit, and their "own high-performance turbo-back exhaust ". (So is that the signature series, or not?)

I don't know what $$ restraints you have, but I'd say you should definitely get the signature series exhaust. You already have an up-pipe, right? And the intercooler hose is a good addition as well.

Shiv has 2 exhausts one is just nicer than the other. I'd get the cheaper one and use the $$$$ for something else!

I would just like to add that there are soooo many exhaust systems out there that seem like they have very nice features. Shopping for what you want is half of the fun.

I wouldn't argue with what Shiv says is a good product (even if it is his own). He obviously is well known for his Suby knowledge, but there are many other products that are attractive for various reasons....looks, hp, sound.

I'd say, shop around. (but save a buck to buy some susp. parts)

one is a twin dump, ... the other is not. Correct?

Dave, IMO, don't go cheap. You may very well find yourself regreting it later. They want $1650 for the sig. series, ... you can get a BPM turbo-back with twin dump downpipe for about $1000-1200.
I love BPM

The cast iron piece from APS for the downpipe looks cherry. At <$200 then add in your own mid pipe it's pretty sexy...
