turbo, injectors, fuel pump and sti tmic are finally installed. started at 10am and didnt finish till about 7pm. problems at every stage of the install pretty much. all i gotta say is that when you pull stock turbo,...make sure to plug the coolant return line cuz if coolant drains into ur up/exhaust manifold its an extra hour or two of work.

never had a chance to run em. just wanted to give a very very big thank you to infek for taking the time to help me with my a/p and uploading the new maps. will be taking the car for a test drive tomorrow morning and will update shortly afterwords.

yeah jon helped me get the vf34 map into the ap. took the car out for a spin just now. didnt beat it up but it felt good. reading other forms i hear a lot about knocking and detonation...are these obviously perceptible from inside the car or are they found with diag equip? how do i know if im displaying any of these symptoms? thanks for any help guys

 

you should be able to hear it from within the car. from what everyone was telling me it shoulds like marbles in a coffee can or something to that effect.

Knocking and detonation can be caused by ****ty fuel, to low of an octane level in the fuel, ****ty tune.
