ss brake lines and rotors

I just put on my goodridge ss lines and stop tech rotors in the front and rear. I am surprised with the difference the lines made. The pedal feels better and the stopping power is greater. I haven't got to warm up the rotors enough to tell how they do against fade yet. While doing the rears I was surprised to see a drum brake system on the inside of the rotors. Is this used only when the E-brake is applied? If so, are the calipers still holding when you apply the E-brake or is it just the drum? Well anyhow, I recommend ss lines for anyone who doesn't already have them :>

I had the same question about the rear brakes myself.......I concluded with that the rear calipers work with the front when the brake is depressed and the drum works with the e-brake...anyone else care to comment on this???

The

rear drum is for the e-brake. Bed your rotors (same as bedding pads) so that you'll get maximum efficiency and rotor/pad life. If you don't know how, check Stoptech's site or give me a call. I've posted my phone numbers countless times.
