Thumbs up

Ask for me about an S-14......

1) engine, intercooler, turbo
2) ECU
3) Trany
4) Rear axle
5) LSD

If I can get this for around $3000 I'm not getting an STi.

400hp rear wheel drive S-14 baby! <---That would be the long trem goal.

how about a...

Starion 89 gold 5 spd. Runs great no ac leaks water under
windsheild (hey, I 'm an honest salesman)
$2500 OBO.
Comes with...
16"x 8"Front / 16"x 9"Rear adjustable shocks all four corners.
Turbo and intercooled. TD05 12a
(bigger than the WRX stock turbo)
Sport springs (Stiff Ride)
Trannies are bomb proof on the 88-89.
The rear diffs were handling 450hp+ on the IMSA showroom stock
class in the late 80s that was on a preped g54b block with a special HKS DOHC head that I saw for sale for $600 last year. doh! Should a bought it!
Trannies and diffs were factory stock nothing done to them.
The car had a the stock ecu chiped and it ran with an aux. injector controler pushing 1.5 bar of boost.

The last year that these cars were made they had the best ecu and no fuel cut.
Boost cut at 19psi. Yeeoww!

Swap in a 1st gen gsx mas and an AIC kit your good to go.

dude, what are you talking about???
do more research before I flame your n00b a$$!!!

SR20det
S13 180SX 91-93 & Silvia 91-93 =205hp = red top (yes, valve cover color)
S13 180SX 94-98 = 205hp = black top
S14 Silvia 95-98 = 220hp = black top w/VVT (s14 & s15 has 'slope' on rear side of valve cover)
S15 Silvia 99-> = 250hp = black top w/VVT (6spd tranny)(also a little more work for swap, need diff and driveshaft)

you can get an s13 'complete swap' for about $2k-2.6k from a "reputable" shop.
oh, and an s14 complete swap for about $3.2k

So are you saying I can't have a 400HP S-14? This is the same person that has "flamed" in the past, because I wasn't thinking big enough.

no, dumb a$$.

I was pointing out that a "red top" is from an S13. You said "Ask for me about an S-14...... ", that makes it seem as if you're asking for a red top S14, ... no? maybe I just misread and took what you were asking wrong ....

hey Dan, ... you better start running ....

Question

Next question? What kind of fuel would we use here in a JDM engine? I'm sure the ECU is set up to run at a hight octane level.

enrich our fuel by exposing cesium atoms to microwaves at one of their transition frequencies and then counting the corresponding cycles as a measure of time. The frequency involved is determined by the energy of the incident microwave photons when they excite hyperfine transitions in the atom. An atom exists in certain discrete energy states determined by the electromagnetic interactions between its electrons and nucleus.

Sean,

What does building an atomic clock have to do with octane rating?

Dan,

I'd figure you could use 92 + some Toluene to = 94 octane and go on a rampage with that SR20!

pump gas

pump gas seems to work fine. a friend of mine just dropped cams and lower comp gasket in his det and it runs damn fine on pump gas. red 240 on MY GAB gold rims.

previously it was running fine with pump gas and various levels of boost.

seems to be many many people are going autronic now. b

Uncle's gonna check when he gets back to the mainland. The way they do it is they have people in Hong Kong that remove everything front of the firewall. Sort through all the good ones and bad ones, send the good ones to the US where there is a larger profit. He does say that getting them here is a pain since it's not gonna be a truckload(unless you guys wanna chip in and try get a truckload then try to sell it...but its gonna be very hard)..

If my uncle does find the ones you guys want, I'll try my best to get them down here...but I might need your guys help on it...I'm not too familiar with shipping auto parts overseas...basically my uncle's gonna find me the parts, get them for me at cost...and then leaving it up to me to do what I want with them, which means at cost for you guys.
