Speeding Tickets
Well monday I got my second ticket in about a week. $299 total for the two tickets. Well I need a good radar detector, and if they are legal here a jammer. Please list whatever you know of that WORKS well to give me a little heads up.
Thanks,
Nathan

I drive the H3 daily, but I was having a bad day and wasn't paying attention. I think only one of my 3 tickets were warranted, and even then the cops should have cut me a huss, because I was late for class thanks to work. There were 4 or 5 cops all on motorcycles and I saw a total of 7 cars not including me get pulled over while I was waiting for my ticket to be given to me.

Well I will go to the track. I only try to drift or drive really fast in areas where there is no one else. I have found several. I've never even been to the track here, and I know I need to check it out. Can I just go there anytime and pay to drive? I don't do stupidness like street racing.

http://www.driftsession.com/index2.htm -- Check out the blue bar at the top of that site. It has the schedule for the "Super Lap" series. Basically, road racing on the short course for $75 IIRC. Last time I went was in the spring, and I think I got over an hour of track time in 15 minute sessions. Definitely one of the best investments I've made yet, as I learned a LOT about how the car handles!
Also, there's the SCCA https://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31922 schedule. $25 to run IIRC. It's slower than the super lap series, but requires more skill from what I hear. I'm sure the SCCA guys here can elaborate if needed.
If you just want some 1-on-1 time at the track, you can actually hire an instructor out there to show you how to really drive your car (he'll ride, you drive). "jeffildey" is one guy I know that's done this and has talked very highly of it. Send him a PM & he'll help you out.
