Special Thanks to Ralph (push2)
My #1 cylinder's coil pack burnt and I can't express enough gratitude for you bro!
I owe you big for giving me your coil pack, and I can’t just accept it without returning the favor to you. I still need to return one of your coil packs. When will be the best time for you?
Also, thank you Andrew (StiNightfall) and Ryan (boloheadrat) for staying up all night and sacrificing a Friday to help me out.
I also can’t forget Stan (WfknRX), who helped me with my inlet hose last night and also, Jon (infek), for the time you helped me with my boost leak.
Thanks guys!

check the coil pack harness and wires that connect into the coil pack itself. I'm thinking that it could be a short circuit of some sort. Look for any unshielded wires that could be causing a problem... repair or replace as necessary.
Sorry I wasn't able to help you out the last couple of times you called me Chris... things have just been very
Let me know if you need any additional help!
Jon

Ryan - I still don't know why it fried like that, especially when the ignition was off. I haven't called Turbo XS, yet. I'm still pissed about the situation and I have other things I have to worry about at the moment. But thanks again for all your help.
Andrew - I don't think it was solely the fuse. It did allow power to go through my #1 coil pack versus the 15 that popped during when starting the car. Good suggestion, though. I'll also replace that fuse with its original intended fuse. Also, sorry about last night. I didn't have my phone with me. Can we reschedule?
Jon - I'll recheck the harness. Also, much thanks for your tip last night. I can boost again!
Nick - Call me, bro.! I was too exhausted to get up this morning. That was my bad.

I read where Motec suggests powering the coils with a relay triggered by the fuel pump circuitry so that if the engine stops running the coils will turn off by the ECU along with the fuel pump.. I know nothing in your car is Motec but maybe it is a suggestion that might help out. The article also said depending on the random position at which the engine stops if the key is still on the Motec might leave current running through a coil. Maybe your ECU (Utec) did the same thing they are talking about...They also said it took about 2 minutes for the coil to fry and it blew a 40amp fuse...Hope some of this might help..
