OMG! I just think this is the most beautifulest car in the world. I mean, not necessarily this particular car, but a WB RS that's done well.
For good measure, here are some helpful Subaru links.

Everything here is stolen from www.rs25.com (I stole then hosted the pics myself.)
Lastly, you've all probably been to all of these vendors' sites.

Seriously, there are many cars that I think I'd enjoy much more, but I just can't explain my addiction to this little 4 banger. I mean, the only way to get any serious HP out of it, you pretty much have to add a bunch of AM parts which you could argue tend to make it less and less an Impreza and more of a 'kit car'.
It's all Cliff's fault...and Dom's.

If you were to guesstimate, how much would you say you'd be able to invest over the course of a year?
I haven't been on the island for some time now, but I know that the craze of swapping the STi block into WRX's and RS's is increasing greatly. It shouldn't be too hard to find an EJ20 engine. Then, all you'd need is an exhaust manifold, uppipe, downpipe, td04 turbo (none of that stuff is expensive at all). The most difficult thing would be swapping out the wiring harness or buying a standalone and having Bolohead tune it for you.

i wasnt going for an sti kinda swap. just more of a wrx swap. but one thing that is my main concern is that i do have a warranty should anything happen to the car. i just dont want to void it.

The RS I bought had quite a few of those small and medium dings, and while they don't bother me too much (I've never been huge on looks as much as I have on go-fast), they still dig at me everytime I see them.
I'm actually thinking of buying a whole rear door to replace mine.
BTW, I just did 20% on my windows. It's funny to me how much better it looks.
