You're better off buying a $50 MBC if you want to raise the boost.

Raising the boost past the factory limit is not "100% safe" any which way you look at it.

he says remove the 3/16" mod and put back the 1/8"stocker and leave that part venting to atmosphere

that whats i thought that would be bad, because than there would be no way for the ecu to control boost. thats also why he got that cel because he was over boosting (anything over 18psi).
i would say that no then that is definately not safe. like Rich says just buy a MBC or EBC its up to you.
