hey pat. first see if you like the fit of the rx7. i was a little snug in there, but liked it. the 2nd thing is all about support. since you are on the mainland now, you might have access to some good support for the rotary. i would start off by having a rotary/rx7 "guru" present and on your side when buying one.

now a FD with sr20det motor is another story. i would definitely run that, but the amount of custom work needed is pretty high. like modding blocks. how do i know? because one is being done right now and it sucking up tons of time. but when they are done, it should rock.

Damnitall, that would be cool.

I need to learn to weld.

There's a rotary 'specialist' here in town. I put the rolleyes in because I've spoken to him and I'm convinced that he's a throwback who thinks he knows a lot more about EM than he really does.

I'll have to go see if he'll let me checkout one he has in his garage.
