Some pretty exciting changes may be happening in my life.
Well, some possibly great news to report. Namely, I may be returning home to Oahu....well, at least for a year. I've hired a seasoned art director to run my gallery over here on Kauai and she'll be starting on October 1st. She's going to be here full time, meaning I won't need to. I've been planning to finish up school at UH since I've only got about a year left. After that, I'll decide what to do.
Money won't be an issue since I'm technically the owner of the gallery. I'll be receiving 1/3 and later 1/2 the income of the gallery w/her as director. Not bad, eh? To add to that, she's negotiating w/Wyland to carry his original art in our gallery since Wyland galleries on Kauai will be closing down. That's big in itself.
I have no exact date when I return, but I'm hoping it wil be soon. When I am completely confident with her handling things while I'm away, I'll make the move back home to Oahu.
