No way. If i ever get on it will be at least the 2nd generation so they have a chance to work out the bugs. Yea, i promise there will be some bugs. Hell, they have one already with the fact that the PS3 isn't 100% backward compatable like Sony promised.

Umm, guys? YOu do know that you can replace the 20gig HDD with a larger 2.5 SATA HDD in about 2 min for alot less money on the PS3. Buying the higher priced 60gig version is a waste of money. The price difference alone could get you a 100gig HDD from NewEgg and still save some money. If you dont mind the HDD not fitting back in the PS3 case then some dude connected a 320gig 3.5 SATA to the PS3 (Japanese version) and those are dirt cheap.

anyway they had a problem with blue ray and the US is now only getting 250,000 instead of 400,000. Most stores might be getting 2 if any. I'm in washington and there are people who have been camping out since saturday.

Here ya go. This is one of the Japanese websites that covered the Swap but they only used a 100 gig 2.3 drive vice a 320 gig 3.5 drive. This site requires you to either be able to read Japanese or use a translator.
