so...went to the eye doctor yesterday...

found out i have a marginal corneal ulcer in my right eye...from extended contact lens use......now i'm on these eye drops that i have to take every hour...

it sucks.....just wanted to share...

my doctor warned me that she will pull me off contacts for good if i keep wearing them too long. i hate having bad eyes....

i heard it is alot better now. they have these lasers that map out your eye for maximum results. it takes like 30 minutes or something like that for both eyes and in about 3 hours you are back to normal unlike years before when you would have fuzzy vision for a couple of days. my coworker got it a year ago. he is 50 and loves it. the only thing is that his night vision is now worst (has to wear thin glasses) but now he doesn't have to wear his 1 pound glasses that he had since childhood and said it is worth it.

this is good to know. i've had my contacts for less than a year and have kept them on for extremely long hours. i guess i'll be wearing glasses more often now.
