About him having an accident is a different case. But i dont think they (Military) are in deep shhhh!!t. Most of the time, military request police escorts for them to operate in large amount of military vehicles on the road, since they have no lic. plate, etc, etc.. and make sure theres no issues.

Thanks, Jose

WOOT, so i slept for a few hrs @ work, did some work, put a bunch of files on a portable hard drive and drove around the island @ 12:30 and got home @ 2:00, my usual commute time for the evening just like 4X the distance, traffic on monalua freeway was still there... @ 12am it looked like.

At that point it was a beautiful evning for a drive, a little wet and cool. perfect for a cruise!

yeah my dad said he passed by them (the mil. truck pulling a crane) on the freeway and said that they were escorted by HPDs...i think it's a matter of miscalculation...maybe they thought that it wasn't going to hit the bridge(pedestrian walkway)....but unfortunately, it did...

Holy **** Roy...

I stayed in town... crashed at my friend's place. I was looking at the traffic camera and it was not worth it to drive last night. I'm very tired but still I'm happy about my decision.

We're suppose to meet him at the 7-11 in Kailua so on our way back out of Kailua somehow manages to get a speeding ticket from some jerk cop... After that we decide to meet up with over at the Zippy's in Kaneohe...

Its now shortly after 1 am when :X meets us up at Zippys in Kaneohe... from there (and you're gonna love this route) both :X and myself decide to follow on the H3... from there we head back in to town... or at least that general direction, but :X gets off at the Nimitz Exit and turns up Valkenberg... from there we hit Bouganville, run on Salt Lake Blvd, cut through Aiea via Moanalua road and a straight shot home... less than an hour... I was impressed...
the smileys and :X are supposed to be names i blanked them out

i was next to the military truck as he hit the overpass. there was no police aid nor did the truck have any warning signs like oversided load or wide load.

i was in the back rear of the truck as he made contact with the overpass. i got hit by small rocks n crap. my clear coat is fcked.....getting it checked out today...no big damage but the militaryis going have to pay for my damages plus compensation for the problems they caused me.....

lucky me i one of 2 people who pulled over after and filed a police report....everyone dug out. i was the one on KHON2 phone reporting.

seriouslly it was kinda fked up accident....like seeing that thing wipe out that overpass makes me wonder when i follow another big rig

oh ya the truck wasnt going like 30-40mph...thing was going a good 45-50 mph cause i was next to it and about to pass it! but then there was no room to i just try to pass it from hehind but good thing i didnt!lol.....
