Agree, Tahiti gas price used to be ~$1.20 per liter and went up last month by 40 cents, so in gallon, it would be around $6... :-(

The news the other night said that gas prices everywhere in the US went down, except for 4 states which went up. Hawaii lead the way, increasing 8%, while the other 3 states went up only 2% MAX. WTF is going on, I think the "ream-me-in-the-butt" gas cap. It's a stupid idea almost on par with the van cams. Good job State government!

i was reading an interesting article on msn this morning... basically speaking about crude oil prices may go down.. but does not neccesarily mean that refined oil(gasoline) goes down.... since individual refineries set the precedent for our prices here.. oh and the retailer also---- which they say marks it up about 12 cents a gallon-

i really wish gas prices were a little more easy to understand.. i can go on all day on how i disagree on the business side of it.... but i'm sure there is much more into than i imagine-

an interesting analogy-- just because there is a increase in caviar supply... does it mean the price of caviar goes down? think again buddy! but since when was gas a specialty item?
