one of the leaders in hybrid technology... Toyota... plans on possibly teaming up with Subaru... hopefully giving us our 1st hybrid in 2007- if they follow their recent trends of early release... maybe summer of 2006?

Analysis say gas price might hit record high of $4/gal as the result of Hurricane Katrina. I think it's bullsh!t caz how the hell would the refinery there affect us? We have our own refineries in Hawaii. Arghhh.

The Gas Cap bill is for capping wholesale prices... not the consumer prices... so gas stations are still free to charge us up the ***~!!!

I saw a report that said Hawaii's gas would be capped at $2.15 a gallon guess that's out the door or someone just blowing smoke?

Glad I drive NA for my daily driver

Honestly, it doesn't matter much to me because everywhere else in the world gas prices have always been this high. When I was in Europe, the gas prices were around $1.50+ per liter which is like $5-$6 a gallon.

what logic is used in raising gas prices? since the gas they purchased last week obviously was cheaper than yesterday...

maybe i am missing the whole point....
oh..and yeah i pay 3.05 cost me 37 to fill up.

It's called price gouging. Gas is now $3.00 for regular here.

True true, I should have quantified with "western countries"... the economics and distribution of wealth in these places are so far off from ours.
