$470 sounds like a good price. You'd still need to get a gauge pod. See if you can meet up with the guy and take a look at them.

470's not a great deal, but good considering it's here. If he paid "$800", he got raped.

You also want to check to see if the EGT sensor is included. The temp gauge can be a water or oil temp gauge, it also needs the sensor (which it should have).

dont cost that much. around 60-70 bucks.

If he'd sell the guages for 450 or so, that's not bad (that's what you'd find as a good price online), so long as it's all unopened, etc.

The guage pod pictured is for what car? There's no sense in paying for that if you can't use it. And "making it fit", is Not an option in my book when one is made specifically for your car.

as far as the sensors go, ... just make sure the gauges' sensors are all included with the gauges (the EGT and Temp gauge's need a sensor). Also, Greddy guages are top notch quality.
