i'm down to learn..... n if there is time, get some assist on loading my 12 struts w some eibach springs. get it ready for the direct strut/spring swap for my 2010 when i got time.

forgot to mention, got a new craftsman corded impact wrench I want to get tested out which i bought specifically for this type of stuff.

As for bad tunes, he's never blown any cars, so not sure what they mean by that. And this is the first time I've ever heard anything remotely close to what you're saying. And this was discussed I believe before you were even a member, but servco subaru recommends cars to import dynamics when their motor is toast....servco won't rebuilt motors, they'll just replace. Don't think servco would recommend a "bad" shop.

lol thats like the 2nd time i went there ever and only to quote wheels i dont even know kai on a personal level and only hear of his tuning abilities/capabilities and same as import dynamics ive only wemt there twice but for a tune price (before i heard of any 'bad tunes' from them) and to p/u your injectors. im not taking sides i was just saying what i heard. andbad tune meaning the tune wasnt great. thats what i meant by bad tunes. not blowing up cars .

Do you have a spring compressor? If not, I can take you to the military hobby shop and we can get those set up. LMK!

Not sure if there is a difference but just as a time saver I used an impact gun and body weight on my previous car to change out my springs. Compressor took way to long. Push down, reverse impact, pray reverse to install new springs. But impact only after you hand thread the bolt on. Unsafe...maybe. Works though. Just a thought

i'd highly recommend against doing that with stock springs. the force is enough to break a femur, or even death. just buy a cheap *** spring compressor, its worth not having a hospital bill

Tie a few loops of good strong rope or nylon webbing around the spring coils before you jack the car up. Springs fall right off. No need to use compressors to install most lowering springs. They're already short.

depends which compressor you have...

No need for spring compressor if you're going to coilovers. Just have to remove strut assembly as one piece and install coilover. At least that's my assesment after installing RCE yellows on my 08.
