Exclamation

There was an option via "Ship To Hawaii", but I can't seem to find the thread.

"Ship to hawaii" offered some marginal savings, but has a membership fee.

There was another service too but I forget.

The bottom line, though is you'll have to pay. A lot. haha.

invite your family to come for a week and have them check the wheels. free shipping to their place and $100 for 4 wheels. unless you have a friend with a pallet coming in with room for them thats the cheapest way. or you can just pay the $250.

Haha, +1.

Not too many affordable options out here. USPS Priority is usually the cheapest though, as compared to FedEx and UPS. I bought 2 sets of wheels ( 1 set with tires, the other wheels only) within the past month and total paid close to $800 just in shipping. It sucks, but when wheels are your thing, you just accept it and be happy. If you're coming from TX, you're probably used to free shipping.......one of the down falls to moving to Hawaii.

buy them together and they will usually be cheaper. buying tires locally (especially in certain sizes) will cost you an arm and a leg. what wheels are you looking at?

The only place cheaper locally than buying online is costco. It's worth it to get membership just for the savings on tires. I got a set of RE760's for about $650 installed. Otherwise justorder from tirerack and sick up the $130.

130 for all 4 tires? Thats not TOO bad. Ive been waiting for an excuse to get a COSTCO membership and you just gave me a good enough one.

you're limited to what they have on hand so go down there asap and if they don't have what you want order them. last set i ordered took 2 weeks but i've heard a month or more for some

You're TOTALLY not. Just go to the Costco tire website, Click, buy, and they'll ship it to whatever store you select. They'll give you a call when they come in. Took mine like 2 weeks.
