Great job on the letter and I hope that it does pull through to open up tracks!
BTW I don't think Akaka wrote that second letter...but then again if he received it and didn't respond that's also something to consider.

Don't think for a minute that the politicans actually respond to your email. Most of the time are his aids who are doing the work. I know caz I used to work as the HI State Legislature Aid.

i was going to respond in like the above manner.. but i guess it was taken care of... case, akaka... those men are hardly "home" they are doing their job on a federal level...
i suggest more state politians... and approaching ALL the media here locally with a well presented case with some video, testimonials and cold hard facts....
put all that in a good package- and i guarantee that you will get more results than emailing case/akaka... and having their aids who get paid to handle all their thousands of emails
nonetheless... you did a very good job in taking action- now when we hear people complain at least you can say that you are trying to make a difference-

Again... Clayton is not in the legislature, even if he supports the race track, he can't do anything about it. And we shouldn't support or be against any candidate based on issues that is not relevant to him/her legislative power.
