In salt lake right up the street from Stadium Mall, the onramp going East bound. Theres a crosswalk/stopsign where its safe to take the pic.. Jon, I finally found the solution that eliminating the red light background that I kept having at the shoot at kakaako..

You got to read the manual as well, and not to get too "technical" with it.
Also, understand the basic of photography, not just duplicating what others doing and do the same over and over without understanding why the other photographer choose those specific settings!!!
All I see right now is picture of cars and cars and night and night settings.
Nothing wrong about it, but if you want to learn more, got to expand your knowledge by shooting different subject!
BTW, I am not a pro, and don't do photography as a living! pros are out there with far more experiences than me.
The pictures I post are just amateurish!!!

thanks for the tip!! I've always referred back to the manual for any confusion on my part but for that particular problem, i couldnt find anything close to that problem. At times I feel bored taking pics of rides but I dont really have patience for waiting on birds that I want to take pics especially the cardinals. But good lookin out though.
