Saturday night at the track?

Anyone going tonight? Thinking about it. I'm gonna start drinking large quantities of water and see how I feel about 7:30.

I showed up late (around 9pm) and got 5 runs in. Didn't match my big trap speed from last weekend, so I'm back to wondering if it really was a timing system fluke.

Ran twice in a row against an Incon twin-turbo'd 5.0L - the first time he spun big time (surprise!) so I hole-shotted him big time, but he caught me just past the 1/8mi with probably a 20 or 25mph speed differential. I was just laughing as I saw him coming in my side-view mirror. The second run he hooked up even better than I did and ran in the high 12s at 116 or something like that (on street tires, mind you). Pretty nasty. Had a close run against a high 14sec 5.0L (probably caught me about the 1000' range, had me by three or four car lenghts at the end). My last two runs were against a Neon and some big late 70s Chevy - wasted both of them.

Best time was a 15.367 or something like that, best trap was an 87.87mph on my last run (cooler air).
