Dude,
Let's just stop.
You know I'm a WRX lover, and I'm very, very happy to say I can't even count how many of you guys I now consider friends; but I doubt anyone on here has anything against the owners of any other type of car. If they do, it's probably on a personal level.
Point is, this could turn into a california wildfire; unfortunately this island is smaller than a small Cali county. Yeah, one guy started all of this and it would be a good thing if someone could 'educate' him, but at this point that's probably impossible.
Not fun anymore. I know they're calling you and us out, or so it may seem. Truth is, it's probably the less secure boneheads who are opening their mouths. My fear is that one of us parks at Ala Moana or somewhere and come out to find someone has spit, sliced, scratched or worse to our babies. Or one night, Mike starts getting followed by eight 1986 dropped and neoned CRX's and get's jumped. Now, how would Mike feel? And he hasn't even participated in this at all.
My humble opinion. I hope you know I've got your back if necessary, though.

Yeah, but what can you do? One peckerhead comes on here, says what he wants, we call him out, he gets his feelings hurt, goes on another board, those folks misinterpret or hear what they want and then it escalates.
You know as well as I do there are some big, tough ****'s that sit at their computer and type all the crap they want, but in reality, they're just little pussies fulfilling some fantasy.
I think this forum concept is excellent. It's a way to meet people, especially folks much smarter than me when it comes to my car. The drawback is that anyone can post.
In the end, potential cost of furthering this dispute outweighs benefit. I'm just curious to see if there will already be any fallout. I doubt it.

WOW, ... look what happens when my power goes out for a little while!
... you guys know you fell into a 'speed hawaii' forum trap. how long have we talked about that board?
anyways, Mike 'already' has gotten followed by somebody, .... that's why he drove out of his neighborhood, and over to mine
