rim repair
anyone know of a good cheap shop to repair aftermarket rims? one of my rims got a slight chip when i bought it from my friend, how much would it cost to fix it? mines has a polished lip so it shouldndt be that hard, thanks

dude u can try friddy's by tnt tinting. its on the road right next to it. good place for curbed rims too. you gotta go at night because thats when he's there. his name is claud i think. old guy, his son work at pcauto.

umm.... sorry just gotta jump in here...
the place is called FREDDY'S RIM & MACHINE WORKS
the owner's name is CLYDE
and his son DOES NOT work at PCAUTO... (although I think mellowwrx54 is referring to PACIFIC AUTOMOTIVE & PERFORMANCE, but in either case he doesn't work there)

Clyde's son just does website stuff for PACIFIC AUTO.
Here's the details... if you need a rim looked at... call 596-8315
Clyde is usually there AFTER 6pm (supposed to be 5pm, but traffic usually causes delays for him)
If you want to be able to leave it there the day you take it in, make sure the TIRES ARE OFF THE RIMS. otherwise he will look at it and then tell you have the tires taken off and bring it back... (he doesn't have the machine to remove tires)
the address is 862 Ilaniwai St next to Island Fender, down the street from TNT Tinting and just a bit before VOLKSGERMAN.
