So has anyone here ran the new azenis and have comparative experience w/ the old model? Just wondering as I need a new set of tires for my MR2.

Thanks, Randy (on deck: your smooch!), Chris (Wagons unite!), & Brennen (we're "Team GS"!)!

Larry - If I come across someone who has ran on both, I'll let you know asap...

Erik,
I have 205/50s on my 6" wheels on my integra. You should be able to put on the 205s no problem on your 16s. I guess if you are worried about the profile, that is another story. I'd still do it though.

Get the RT-615s. I just got some for my mkiv.

Thanks so much, Barry & Mark! I'll jump on the Azenis RT-615s come Monday!

I am no driving/racing authority. That said -- being that I'll now get the RT-615s -- I'll let you know, Larry, right after the November 13 autocross the difference(s) between the two to me...

LaR
yo larry.

tried my civic on the old 115's and just tried kyle's civic with the 615's. they were okay. probably the same but the 615 should be better in the wet. i kinda like the 115's for some reason. maybe they just look like they should grip better.

Barry,
Are you sure you don't mean 215s vs 115s? The 115s are the regular tires that kinda suck. The 215s are the sports. I like the look of the 215 (Sports) better than the 615 although looks aren't everything. The 215s look like they have larger tread blocks which would more grip. I plan on getting a set of 615s for the rears soon. Once I get that (and the 6spd in place) I am going to take it to the auto-x/SL.

ARRRGH.... maybe I should just run R-compounds 24/7, like my STI.

Thanks for the feedback.
