at first the inspector did it and then he got his measuring stick and told me to bounce it...oh yeah, make sure your tint is also legit. he took his time measuring my front and back windows.

yes, it's worth getting the recon...after waiting for 30 days, i finally went in today...and passed!!! you have to make sure that your suspension gets at least 2" bounce or push as hard as you can when they ask you to. the inspector thought mine's pretty stiff..
make sure your alignment papers are current (30days), intake and other accessories in your engine are bolted down. the inspector also measured everything like bumper height and suspension travel...go to forumshawaii and read the sticky before making your appointment...good luck!

Hey Ted, right on! :RockOn - not mine: Did you put on your fog light covers before the recon? Did you get that cool guy with the leather belt w/ retro old buckles?

thx dan...yup, got the fog covers on, so no probs on that. i got the "other" guy, and he was very meticulous in checking the car...bounced it a couple of times, engine bay, tint meter, walked around the car a couple of times, checked the interior, measured bumper height, etc...but he was cool, and passed me.
the other guy in the integra was sweating bullets since they were giving him a hard time...
