Do they check for corner lamp (parking light) illumination at safety check? Also, I have a recaro seat on the driver side (SRD). Will they give me a hard time about that? Anyone know any 'special' places to get a safety check. PM me please. This is very frustrating because my Integra is a auto-x/track only car but I still need to get it to the track legally. Does the DMV offer temporary passes for 3 days?

In regards to my WRX; Today the shop I went to get my safety check said that I needed recon for my wing. One of the techs asked if I 'drift' since my stock tires showed auto-x/track use. WTF? I did pass after explaining things.

the guys over at the 76 corner of king and kalakaua are pretty cool. i was in and out in 5 minutes then again i'm stock as can be. they really didn't check much. the guy that was supposed to be watching everything from the outside was talking to me. i don't even think he noticed if my lights worked. they charged me $15 plus tax no extra fee for the tint since it looks legal. not sure if the guys are there during the weekday since i went on a saturday. my girlfriend had an easier time and went on a saturday too.

 

just cover the seat up with a seat cover. i covered the SRD in our mini with a haw'n print one. not sure if it matters though. it all depends on what person you get.
