That's crap lol... well it's true if you have a cat-back or less you're legal since you would pass a sniffer test.

I guess I'll be driving my STI less and less Got to hook up that beater car damnit.

damm! the recon laws suck! i got tagged by a rookie cop while i was going to work he gave me a $80.00 ticket cause of my exhaust. he tol me that i aint supposed to have altered pipes on my car unless i get that recon sticker. dont they have anything better to do? and he was about to give me another ticket for my gauges. but i guess i was really nice to him so he let me go...=)

I am pretty sure it's 35% legal.

Anyways from past experience take I say take the tint tickets to court if you get one for each window since the judge will only make you pay for 1 ticket since it's only 1 offense.

35% (+/- 6%) which means 29%. From what I hear, If the cop gives you a ticket for all the windows, the judge will throw out the other windows. But you're still stuck with the $287 fine. Bummahs.

where can I find the rules regarding what is recon and what is not. I am looking for an exhaust and tint and want to ensure that I don't get that ticket...
