You gotta realize man...(and I'm sure you do...)

These guys (not all...you know what I mean...) have nothing better to do than try and bully people...after all...most became an MP because:

1. They didn't have a choice due to their ASVAB scores...or

2. They got picked on a lot during school and this is their only way to get back at people...

3. They didn't have a recruiter uncle that could get them into a better job than this...

I was in the Air Force stationed at Shaw AFB South Carolina and Lowry AFB in Denver Colorado...PMEL technician...

Most of the the Security squadrons were filled with ******** that often times ended up in trouble with the local authorities off base as well as on...

It's the same in all military branches...

They checked mine...

I have the Titanium tint and it must have looked darker or something under the highway...anyhow, they put a meter to it...passed no problem...

Although I was pretty confident of passing, it sure was nerve racking to just stand around watching them whisper, point, giggle, and nod to each other...

ARGH! Glad that is over...now though, since having my rear bumper replaced, I may have to go and get a new recon sticker...

when they took it off the old bumper and put it on the new...it did not adhere to the bumper as well as it should have...what a pain.

Stickers don't belong on bumpers. You should have relocated it when you had the opportunity.

yeah...

I have a good excuse to get new stickers...I'll be getting the plate this time prior to getting the new ones...they are all peeling and all...better change it before someone steals it off my bumper and puts it on their car...

Peter you should be ok man...just follow what everyone's been posting.

Look to get the Haole guy with the moustache to do your car and make sure to dress nice (business wear) so he takes it easy on you.

If you look like an upstanding citizen rather than a punk ricer he will even help you do small things to pass you.

BTW guys...Ohio = no recon, no safety check, no emissions!

Also remember that a recon fraud ticket costs a lot more than a no recon ticket. So for you guys planning to do small stuff just to pass, but then revert it back to how it was (fog light covers, license plate), just know that an officer could give you a bigger ticket for having a fraudulent recon. I think it was $2xx for a recon fraud versus a $97 no recon ticket.

Also think about how much times you'll get pullled over without recon vs with. My old civic had 2 inches of ground clearance. I had jdm corner markers (no amber). I was like that for 3 years, then I sold it. Got pulled over for recon 0 times. I had recon on it. Drove though waikiki a number of times too.

bounce test....what a joke! where even stock oem springs fail. what they need to do is.
X= weight of inspector applying force / y = distance of bounce travel measured by inspector

A=weight of vehicle / B= distance of travel

multiply Y times A divided by X= spring travel of vehicle

is the spring travel greater than 2 inches?

obviously a 200lb inspector wont be able to exert enough force vs a 3400 lb car hitting a bump. and if your inspector did make your vehicle travel 2 inches with only 200 lbs, can you image what a 3400 lb car will do?

Actually, there are quite a bit more asians than I thought there would be.

We live near an asian market and of course the cajun place at the mall is owned by Chinese!
