recommended upgrade...

hey guys! finally got my car back yesterday! just slapped in an RA version 7 gearset and its fricken bad ***! not like you guys didnt know or anything... but just thought id say... its definitely a worthwhile upgrade. still breaking it in but it pulls nice in all gears..

by the way, did anyone experience misfiring on their 2nd and 3rd cylinders yet? cuz i gotta change my coil wires i think...

you don't change "WIRES" since we have coil packs. misfiring is probably due to a soiled spark plug. have you ever changed them yet? if not then it's recommended that you do so.

Also if you were messin' around with it ever then it is definately possible that the wire connection connecting to the coilpack is not connected well and you'll need to reconnect it.

I have had several members say similar things about misfiring on cylinder 2/3...etc. you get the point and have never changed their spark plugs..etc.

also just because you got new gears doesn't mean that you can beat on it worse that you did before (that's how you broke it in the first place). The gears are strong (yes) but the case (WRX) is the same which still flexes.
