Recommendations for exhaust shop on this island
Anyone recommend a good place to get custom work done? What I mean is, completely muffler back systems with OEM-like quad tips.
Additionally, anyone can recommend anyplace that powdercoats? I'm looking to powdercoat quad exhaust tips gunmetal/black.

I've used Exhaust Systems Hawaii before on a couple occasions and they do good work. If you go to town, my friend Rick runs the King St. store and if in Waipahu, you could ask for Roland. We use them for all our exhaust repairs at the shop.

I have used this location too and the prices are very fair and the service was great. Not much to look at, but the service made up for it!

ESH has always been a good place to get that kind of work done...they can probably even recommend or sub-contract another shop to take care of your coating. Sounds like you got that MB on a nice little course...what rims did you end up getting?

Thanks for the recommendations.
Blake: I thought I made the decision last week with the Euro 63 RS Gunmetal version but that particular wheel was out of stock in almost everywhere I checked with every shop telling me it's in very high demand. Of course, that would always make you think about other options since it gives you time to do so. A few days ago, a vendor released news of the new version of these wheels which are polished black chrome with matte black spokes. Tempting.
The only reason I really wanted to see recommendations for exhaust shops is that I came across some extremely rare OEM AMG exhaust tips for a decent price. These things are always been so craptacularirly expensive before. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I'm close.
Here's the color I was thinking.

Doooooo it!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I'd recommend ESH too, as they're the only shop I have experience with. I went to the one in Kailua though. I went to get a muffler welded onto my old camry, and before they did any cutting or welding, they asked me before hand if everything was alright (I wanted to angle the muffler, yes I was a ricer back then!). Can't complain.
