this thread in nasioc is about a stupid rookie cop who cites a wrx for stock hood scoop...its a long thread (15 pages) but i suggest yall read it for laughs...

yeh i read that whole thread yesturday. tho they are now making a full investigation against subaru for selling there cars with those damn hood scoops

 

better watch out, those scoops may go after yer kids next...

 

fairfax county has a huge population of *********. i should know, i lived there for 7 years.

 

I got a parking ticket in front of Vakamon the other day. I was standing next to the caar and I still got a ticket. He said if I want to ***** about it he could give me at least 10 tickets for aftermarket parts. I tried to explain that the car was stock and he gave me the run down of the tickets I would get if I didnt shut up. Here they are in no particular order.

1. Aftermarket exhaust. (I guess my stock exhaust looks to good)
2. Aftermarket Body Kit (rear wing.....still stock)
3. Rims more than 1" over stock (stock silver rims)
4. No front license plate (ok I ll take that one)
5. Hood Not stock (hood scoop)
6. Parking within 30' of a stop sign. (30 feet?!? are you serious?!?)
7. Parking mor that 12" from the curb ( 1 foot... thats it?!?)
8. Parking in the wrong direction on a one way street (Yea Vakamon is on a one way street now)

He said there was more but he was going to let me off with 1 $35 parking ticket.

For those of you that dont know I have a bone stock 06 STI. At least it WAS stock the day I got the ticket. Not so much anymore. I should get my car back form Ryan on Monday.

Just wanted to let everyone know to be careful out there. If the cops are targeting you for "aftermarket" mods than we are all going to jail. HAH

 

That thread cannot be serious that ahs got to be one of the dumbest cops ever almost as dumb as the idot I took my STI to for safety inspection shop was right down the street from Schuman. You could see the Subaru sign and he wasn't going to pass me because of my spoiler I told them to give me my money back and I went somewhere else...fawking dumbass

i went to valley of the temples a couple weeks back. the guy working the gate starts off like this:
hey didn't you just leave like 10 minutes ago?
-no.
there was this other guy here with the exact same car, hood scoop and all.
-yeah i seen that guy just pass me. but this is how they come stock.

he didn't believe me. some cops don't believe either. it's life.


my car is lowered a little (gf210) and i have a exhaust. that's all that is visible. when i went to get recon, it went something like this.
-hi, im here for recon.
ok, what kind of car do you have?
-i have that sti right out there.
(he looks out the window then says) looks stock, why the need for recon?

 

lol...its cops like these that actuall make me WISH that we had recon here in VA...cuz you cant do NOTHIN to ur ride without it bein illegal...course, its just a fix-it ticket..you fix it and provide proof to court and they drop it.

 

hahaha... same here.... i went for safety check and they wont let me pass b'coz my wing too big (sti wing that is) but one of the mechanic back me up... he said its eom hehehehe
