Rally Cars- x-games style

Many if not all of you have seen the recent x-games rally competitions on T.V. And since mainstream media has made it more known, i have had many people asking me where to rally and if i do in fact rally. It seems that this growing sport is peaking the general public's interest, and I actually wondering who has taken their car off the tarmac and onto the dirt/gravel/sand. I'm wondering if S.O.R.T. or the powers-that-be recognize this sudden interest in rally racing, and if we are any closer today than we have been in the past.

That's a negative for me... my car is low enuff to pick up dirt on the road. It would be very fun tho... just not with my current supension setup.

OH OH OH I haves. Theres this place at the kalaeloa boat harbor where hardly anyone goes, and i havent gotten into trouble yet. Another place would be central oahu regional park. In the back theres like small kind trails. Only bad thing about that place is that its red dirt. It would be nice for rally-x to come here.

Kalaeloa is nice but the space is usually tight and there is a lot of large trash (car doors) laying around. Ha Bush is only fun really early in the morning after it rains. Police sometimes watch that area in Central Oahu Regional park. Mokule'ia is fun but only if you have a tow rope and a truck that can go up with you. There are a ton of places between North Shore and Kahana but I do not know them well enough to really comment.
I think a group of us needs to get together and start making some phone calls.
