Race w/ or w/o check engine light
I have a check engine light due to a cel throwing because of my invidia dp. When I go to the track should I clear it w/ the OBD II scanner prior to racing or leave the check engine light?

Is the DP catless? If so - that's what you're smelling. Installing a DP isn't going to make your engine run richer (that's controlled by a closed feedback loop using your oxygen sensor for input and injector pulsewidth for modulation).
The O2 sensor in your downpipe has nothing to do with that closed loop circuit, it just monitors catalytic converter efficiency.
