Just to put this in perspective, the EVO VIII is 2.1 turns lock to lock at 13 to 1 ratio. A stock WRX is 3 turns lock to lock. The guys is fabricating the first unit to send to me next week. FYI. Getting everyone interested the Racer Group Buy discount. I will know final cost w/ shipping shortly. Should be about $420 maybe a little less, depending if multiple units are shipped in a single box. This is w/o core trade, which is $75. Note that a full rack, purchased from Rev-Lab is about $1700 Canadian, w/o my group buy discount. There is a significant cost diff and no need to realign your suspension. Will be doing the install next week if anyone is interested.

San, sounds good. You can test drive after the install. I bet you'll want one after you experience the quick steering. Call you next week.

I'm kicking myself in the a$$ right now! I had the opportunity to buy an STi rack for dirt cheap, but I was under the impression that there was no difference between the WRX and STi racks.

I'm interested, but I'm still undecided. I still prefer the other rack, but it doesn't seem like we'll have enough for a group buy.

so for my sti, i should slap in a wrx rack and then get this!!!!!

Yo B, it's up to you? You could get this modified column and put in a cheap used WRX rack and pull your STI one, this way you keep your STI cores. If not, you can pick up the full STI rack and find 5 guys to get the discount. Let me know. BOLOHEAD RAT, call me if you want one.
