1. Jack Car, go underneath and locate the bushing.
2. Remove nut holding linkage with 12mm socket and remove washer.
3. Remove shifter linkage and remove bushing.
4. Put in new bushing and washer.
5. ?????
6. Profit.

don't take what I said so seriously... i'm joking with you

you got a great car! I understand your new so no worries we won't lynch you yet hehehe j/k

as stated before the bushings can be time consuming but no where near the level of hard. if you're able to change a flat tire or change your oil you can do the bushings. The hardest part is probably removing the stock bushings

why not just come out tonight!!!

It's not hard, i've done it on a MY04. I'm assuming on an 06 sti similar, except you got that lockout th9ingy on reverse gear. The hardest part is removing the bushings and getting in the tight cramped spaces under neath the car to get to the other bushings. It's been 4-5 years since idid it myself, i barely remember. I do know that i had one of kartboy's first SSK though, and there we problems with hitting the shifter plaTE. Abovre all else, G/L.
