it would run..
but it would not run optimally...
I am assuming that the owner sold the car to you with the Cobb AP...and that it is still married to your car?
Simple solution would be to leave the AP as is and buy yourself a nice downpipe and catback...and throw a K&N drop in filter in to bring it to what Cobb calls Stage 2...great improvement over stock.
otherwise:
1. Remove the stage 2 base map from your ECU
2. Download STage1 91 octane maps from Cobb's site (Base and Realtime)
3. connect AP to your computer
4. remove all stage 2 maps from AP
5. install stage 1 maps to your AP
6. Flash in stage 1 base map
Look in your manual for detailed instructions on how to remove and add basemaps onto your ecu...
