My main argument, whether someone agrees it's valid or not, is that driving 180+ mph in 3 and 4 wide traffic has got to entail a certain amount of skill.

Can't deny that it can get a little boring though.

.. just boring to watch.

... kinda like baseball, ... I LOVE to play, ... but I really could care less about watching it most of the time.

Nobody says NASCAR is easy. It's grueling and take skill/knowhow/gumption.

Nobody can hold me still long enough to watch a race in its' entirety either though...

Watkins Glen = yes. Ovals? No...

This just seems to be a sad way to make someone's life feel better. I do agree with the idea of street and freeway racers, because they are not racing enthusiasts who have any skill...rather it's too much watching movies (think: as a kid you thought you could fly like Superman so you tied a bathtowel around your neck and tried to jump off your family's house) and trying to emulate what you see. All motorsports take a degree of skill, gumption, so you really can't say that one is better than the other per se. As far as the "Pyramid", he must have a lot of $$$. If i had more money and time (and no real life except for racing), I would do wheel to wheel and time trialing...that guy's a bitter monkey...
