Pulled over and Ticketed
#19
Yeah fellas, stay out of Waikiki. It must be some kind of department memo that stated to keep the ricer/racer element out of the "jewel" of our tourism industry. They probably want to retain Waikiki's paradise image. I bet you it was all Jeremy Harris' doing Bastitch!
I heard there's an officer there who seems to have something against modded imports. Officer Hunt I believe. Heard he gives out at least a 3 ticket minimum for every stop. I think he got transferred though, which isn't good news because now he could be anywhere.
Seems silly to me that you see countless Harleys cruising through Waiks, which have waaay louder exhaust notes, and you don't see them getting pulled over at all. It is literally deafening when a small posse of Harleys cruise through Kalakaua with their exhaust noise resonating between the hotels. Double standard, baby. Sucks. I swear, whatever my next car will be, it will be as stock as stock can be.

Does this "Officer Hunt" exist? Hoppie? This guy seems like the Terminator of the police force.
I agree w/ the dbl standard also. Dont see too many jacked up trucks w/ recon nor do i see them pulled over. Yet some police officers will quickly pull you over for a lowered car and write you a ticket even if you DO have recon.

I won ....according to the judge....there's really is no law in hawaii thats says your muffler needs to be quiet(Please correct me if i'm wrong)...it's really the cop's judgement...but because soon after I got the ticket I got recon for the muffler the judge rulled in my favor....I told him I was not aware of how loud my muffler is and since then i did get recon to make it legal on my car also I installed a resonstor.....he liked the way I took care of the problum and let me off.....
hope this helps

"Mike Hunt" is supposedly some guy on a solo bike that is famous for pulling everyone over. lol.
Another popular name is Officer "Dupont", dunno his first name. Dupont drives a black camaro with exhaust, but of course there are many cops with black camaros ..
