Prodrives FTW!
Got my STI struts with Prodrive springs and Group-N top-mounts put on today. First, gotta say thanks to Diego for giving me a deal on this awesome set-up! Havent got much driving on um yet, but I can feel a big difference from the stock WRX setup. Yet is still was very comfortable on thr drive back from Ewa. :RockOn - not mine:
Also, big thanks to Brad for helping me put them on! it was a lot easier then I thought it would be. Only took about an hour and 45 mins. Hondas take way longer then that! And thanks to Mark for showing me how to put the backseat back on, haha.
Pics soon after they settle a little.

i have the same set up and they are very comfortable cosidering that the recon guy was telling me that it was "pretty stiff" ....add some swaybars, strutbars and maybe a h-brace and you are ready for autocross....

Those won't settle anymore. That's the Prodrive drop. It drops the least of all the lowering springs.
You won't get anymore "settling" because you got them used and any "settling" would have already happened.
I actually drove on that setup at a Solo in August.

It's true Joey, Prodrive springs aren't known for slamming the vehicle. What you will get is a level vehicle that markedly handles better than stock. As you probably know, the front wheelwell cutout is more than the rear so if your gaps would be equal, the front would be lower. When I had them installed on my STi, the front lowered a little, with the rears going up a little. When the car was stock, the rears were good and the fronts real high. In my opinion, the set-up that you have is ideal for the street. With the setup that I have now (solid pillowball mounts) you have to put up with more noise and harshness for the street but pays off in dividends in autocross so I have to live with that tradeoff. You just can't beat Group N mounts for basically street driven vehicles.

I know about the drop. Believe me, I've been researching months on end. Brad told me after we installed them that they may settle a little more. maybe he was mistaken, I maybe I misheard. Probably the later.

No, I was not mistaken. When I purchased a set from Brent a while back, it actually settled a bit more after a while. Not much though.Very subtle.I measured a little over a two finger gap after a while. Then again. It was'nt on a car for a while.

New suspension components settle, but used ones don't. The drop looks good and real-world.
Lower looks good, but not as practical. Ask Diego about low ride heights.

Yup, yup, low is kewl but man it is a biatch for the real world of driveways and rough roads. With the Prodrive/Group N setup, I just about hammered through most things. No crawling over driveways, stopping short in parking stalls for bump-stops, and most of all slowing for steel plates on bad roads.
