Powder coating svc.

anyone know of a place that does a good job for a good price? gna be getting my fmic piping soon in polished look and wanted to have thempwder coated a custom color. does any paint shop do that kind of work or only certain places?

Sunset powder coat did a good job but they took long to so it, go online to prismaticpowders.com and they have all kinds of powders and colors.. If my intercooler pipes didn't come red powder coated I would of went with shocker yellow.. There is another place in Campbell.. I think it's rainbow powder coat.. My coworkers recommends them and they are also a prismatic powders distributor

Mekala out in Campbell Industrial. Great work and they're pretty quick.

yeah i wanna get it done locally. that place in campbell, do you know how much they charge?

I don't think it's the same place Kekoa is talking about but Mekela's is good. I've got a lot of motorcycle parts done by them. Turn around is usually 10 days and they have a bunch of colors in stock.

yeah ima have to run down there one day to check it out. i thought any paint shop could do it, i guess i thought wrong lol.

went on the site. i wanna do something with flakes in em. and the site didnt have anything on that. do they do that?

Sunset refinishers..Hi-tech coatings.. and rainbow powder coating.. They are all prismatic powder applicators, from what I researched when looking for powder for my rims, prismatic is the best... Never got a quote from the other guys but sunset did my rims for 525. 100 per rim and 125 for the special order powder.. From what I'm told this was a high price

yeaaahh like that, i like that look. gonna go for a black with red flakes in em.

They have a wall full of colors, you're better off just going there, I had the compressor side of my turbo powder coated pink with silver flakes in it

you got like a rainbow theme goin in there lol. but yeah when i got time to check it out i will go. i work everyday and by the time i finish, everything is about to close up. but ill give them a call for sure. how much was it just to get that compressor painted with the flakes?
