ok... mods i have are...
Garret GT28RS turbo
Megan Header/up-pipe
Invidia N1 Race exhaust
STi pink 565cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Injen CAI
Perrin Turbo inlet/intercooler Y hoses
TurboXS RFL bov
TurboXS multistage boost controller
ACT 14lb flywheel
Exedy 3-puc clutch
B&M short shift
Cobb APv2 w/"STi "pinks" 2.0L" tune from Cobb's website
Lightweight underdrive, alternator, ps pulleys
i was more so asking if that was a decent price that i was quoted from Snyders or if there is somewhere else that can do the same for less $$... but i didnt know you could put STi heads on an ej20... if you were to build the v5 STi heads and my ej20 heads equally, would the v5 actually be that much better??

this is how the tune reads from cobbs website...
Description: VF39 Calibration for 2002-2003 WRX vehicles with STOCK
INTAKE SYSTEM OR COBB SF INTAKE ONLY, STi or equivalent TMIC, STi
pink fuel injectors, and a turbo-back exhaust system with high-flow
catalytic converter running 93 or 94 octane.
Hardware Requirements: Otherwise stock vehicle with a STOCK INTAKE
SYSTEM OR COBB SF INTAKE ONLY, VF39 turbo, STi or equivalent TMIC,
STi pink fuel injectors, and a Cobb turbo-back exhaust system with
high-flow catalytic converter. An equivalent turbo-back exhaust
system could be used. If the turbo-back exhaust system relieves
back-pressure to an excessive point boost creep is possible. If a
lesser flowing turbo-back exhaust system is used then boost targets
may not be achievable. The addition of any other hardware may make
the vehicle perform poorly.
Fuel Requirement: 93 or 94 octane. If you live in Arizona,
California, or Nevada, we have a specific calibration for the 91
octane fuel in your state, this calibration is called the VF39 ACN91
v100. If detonation is present, you should switch to a calibration
developed for a lesser quality fuel, VF39 ACN91 v100.
Power Output: +54% HP / + 38% lb-ft. Results may vary.
Boost Targets: ~18.5 psi +/- 0.7 psi peak boost pressure tapering
down to ~16 psi by redline, depending on vehicle and conditions.
the Stg2 already on the AP didnt seem like a good tune for what my current setup was... so i found the tune above and

So your running an OTS Cobb VF39 map with a Garrett GT-28rs. I'm not sure that's a good idea. You might consider having your car properly tuned before you do anything else. At the very least you need to be logging o2, and preferably knock. Forget about building heads for now and contact a tuner. If you can't find anyone local, try hitting up Harvey at The Boost Creep. A quick google will find you his info.

well i mean if you can find a tune from cobb's site that would be better suited for my setup over the stg2 or the VF39 tune, then by all means... lemmie know about it... not tryin to be a dick or anything so dont think i am... i've just been tryin to get a more specific tune for the car since about september... every time i can afford it, nobody can tune at that time... when they can, i can afford it...
i should be getting my taxes back soon so i intend on having PDX tune it once the heads get put on and i dont intend on driving it really at all till i can get everything properly tuned for it...
