hey all
I'm pretty new to the island and need some advice. My husband is deployed and his birthday is coming up. I'd like to take some pictures of his car to make a sort of collage/scrapbook/thing to send him.
Does anyone know of any secluded areas where I could take pictures during daylight? I saw the pics of the photoshoot at Pearl Highlands and they look wicked but it is just too dark.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

Awhile back I did some shots of my old car on the top of parking structures, like walmart dowtown, dole cannery, etc. try those. I also like the east side of the island around sandy's and makapu'u.

people like brendan (yamatodashii) norris (tiare) have some SICK locations they can tell you... plus they have some serious skills when it comes to photography...

anytime you need help these guys will come through... plus they are some of the most humblest of men i have ever met--- try hitting them up-

You can also try Windward mall upper parking lot. Good background scene.

If beaches and sunsets work, try the north coast beaches. If you go during the week, there's a good chance you'll find a space without any cars nearby.

I'm on Oahu, visiting from Southern California. Enterprise gave me a free upgrade and I got a Forrester! I got a few shots in along the north coast this afternoon.

Anyway, good luck!
