Aloha Everyone,

Total price of the tune $380 total. Includes PDX tune @ $260 and Dyno charge @ $120 = $380.00.
Time slots will be provided shortly.
You can also visit pdxtuning.com
New tunees (dyno), re-tunes (dyno), and general tunes (road tune, too make previous tunes more efficient. No hard pulls) are all welcome. Open source also.
Pls pm me if you're interested or have questions.
Slot time selection and payment- Feb 22nd, Friday 8:30pm, Ewa Beach Town center, Starbucks Side

You will need an AP or some form of engine management for him to be able to even tune. So I guess your answer would be no.
Turbo-Back & Intake is totally worth a tune. Any little mod + tune will help.

Only thing I use my ap for is to moitor a few things I dont have gauuges for and to store factory map. I started with a ap ots map when I got a dp and intake and ended up getting protuned after I got my dw65c and gsebcs. I would take the money u would pay for a tune and get a ap. Pro tune when you do more.

Nice price for a tune...Jarrad specializes in Subaru's and I don't trust anyone else to tune my cars. He has done over a dozen tunes on my various Subaru's over the years to include STI's, WRX, LGT, and FXT...totally happy with every one of them...my power is smooth and my gas mileage has always increased with every tune...
Jarrad can do Open Source as mentioned by others above.
When I first starting getting my cars tuned, I found the Cobb OTS maps increased my cars performance quite a bit...then I bought the PDX OTS with my mods which made a bigger difference. When Jarrad came over and did a dyno tune...it killed both of those maps due to the customizing...every car responds differently, even with the same mods. My first tune had just a TBE and intake...basic stage 2 tune...but it made all the difference in the world! Highly recommended.
I like the AP for several reasons...
1. I can have several maps that I can switch easily and very quickly between...including valet and just completely killing it. IE: I have an FXT that I just got tuned by Jarrad that has both an 18psi map (for me) and a 14psi map I set when my son's drives...very convenient!
2. If you are getting tuned by Jarrad and need to modify your car prior to the tune, he can send you a "safe" map to limp along with. He has done enough of our cars on the Island to easily do this. I've had him help me out like this on numerous occasions while I waited for him to come over. I hate throwing on mods a day or two before the tune...I've seen too many people have issues while getting tuned...
3. The APV2 is pretty amazing at what it can do...it can monitor and also allow you to set various parameters such as timing and RPM's with/without A/C...
4. If you are having issues, you can record your engine parameters, download it on your computer, and send it to Jarrad to have analyzed...he can then modify the map, and send it back to you at which time you can upload onto your AP. The data logging feature is awesome.
5. You can reset CEL's and pull up the codes...you don't have to buy or find someone with a code reader.
I'm not saying the AP is perfect nor for everybody, IMHO, it works very well for me and my situation...
